Wil Myers of the San Diego Padres and Wilfredo from El Salvador

We are still trying to find a sponsor for 10 year old, Wilfredo, from El Salvador.  Wilfredo has fun playing ball. At school, his favorite subject is math. Wilfredo's main chore at home is helping to fetch water from the river. He lives with his parents and four sisters in an adobe house. It has a sheet-metal roof and a dirt floor. Wilfredo's mother stays home to take care of her children and the domestic chores. His father works in agriculture by maintaining a number of crops, such as corn and beans.
Wil Myers has had a hot bat lately!

Wil Myers is a center fielder for the San Diego Padres.  It was fun to see him play, He was 2 for 4 and scored a run the night we had the opportunity to see him help lead the Padres to a 3-2 win over the Diamondbacks.
Wilfredo from El Salvador hauls water from the river for his family's daily needs.

Please check out our outreach page with Unbound to learn more or to donate or sponsor

  1. Keep up the great work, Jodi and Jack! Here at Unbound headquarters, we are enjoying your photos and stories from your roadtrip. We wish we could be traveling to all the ball parks with you!
