Comerica Park and Rajai Davis

 Tuesday, June 9 2015

Comerica Park seems a little over done with Tigers on the outside but still very fun to see.

Once in the stadium we talked to a couple of guys who were also visiting stadiums but not all 30 at once. They had been in Pittsburgh last night and were headed to Safeco in 9 days. Comerica was a nice park with excellent attendance of enthusiastic fans. It was a festive atmosphere with a lot of fans for a Tuesday night with no promotion.

Note the dirt path from the pitcher's mound to home plate
We met a gentleman who had been to Detroit Fantasy camp for 10 years and was promoting it. He was interesting and a true fan. There were lots of Cubs fans there as well, but the Tigers dominated the Cubs 6-0. The Cubs pitcher, Jon Lester is from Tacoma and went to Bellarmine where Jack went. He had a rough night. I think we are entitled to a 6 inch Sub from Subway today because of the 6 runs. Rajai , the Center fielder for the Tigers had a great night with a double, a triple, a great catch in center that robbed the Cubs of a 2 run homer.  He jumped so high, he had to bend his elbow at the last minute to make the great catch.

He represents our Unbound child Raju, an 11 year old boy from India, who still is in need of a sponsor.  Can you help?
