Sky Bridge into St Petersburg |
Oatmeal
breakfast and headed off to St Petersburg. We parked the car and
talked to this delightful young couple about whether it was all right to
park where we were. They told us all about what we should do, the Saturday
market, the booths to check out, and where the Starbucks
and the Dali museum were. We saw her again on the way to Starbucks and
when we got up to order our coffee someone had already paid for it!
Such nice young folks. We walked all over the Saturday market,
bought the stuff to make the iced wine when we get home and had a
great Thai lunch, a green curry, a red curry and some black rice. We
followed that up with an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and started
walking around St. Petersburg out toward the water. There was a
seawall and a couple of dolphins came right up to it to catch their
dinner.

The dolphin chase the fish into the seawall and then have their dinner. It was fun to watch them. |
There were also many interesting seabirds and a very nice
beach. It really appears to be a great community. We walked over to
the Dali museum but decided not to go in and then headed to our
familiar blogging spot, the closest Starbucks.
