Angels Star Wars night

We set off to the ballpark, Angels Stadium of Anaheim.

Angelina, a 6 year old from India still is in need of a sponsor.
Her parents are struggling to meet all of their family's expenses, as well as manage their daughter's education needs.

We chuckled when we parked in the parking garage of Stub Hub, as Jack purchased all of our tickets through Vivid Seats. We wandered around the outside and inside of the stadium, and eventually our attention was drawn to music. There was a band playing with all these kids dancing in Star Wars costumes. But of course, we are in LA and it is Star Wars night at the ballpark.
How fun! We watched batting practice and took photos and then settled into our seats for an entertaining evening. Before the start of the game there was Darth Vader, the Angels girls with Princess Leah hairdos, R2D2, and Storm Troopers parading around the field.

Notice the Princess Leah hairdos

Darth Vader was the umpire standing behind the catcher for the ceremonial first pitch.

Would you argue a call with this umpire??

The Angels were hosting the Oakland Athletics. When the Athletic batter came to the plate, he was shown on the big screen as a Storm Trooper with an expanded number. Notice the clone date!
Athletics 1st baseman Ike Davis has a new uniform
All the Angels were shown as the good guys from Star Wars. So funny.
He gave up the crew cut for the evening
